Can I include something other than my pet’s hair?
Yes. We can also create a memorial necklace using pet ashes.
If you would like to include something else, it may be possible as long as the material fits inside the resin area of the pendant.
Please note that depending on the material, micro bubbles may naturally appear within the resin.
For this reason, we kindly ask that you contact us before placing your order so we can confirm suitability and ensure the best possible result.

How do I send my pet’s hair? How does it work?
Our process is simple and stress-free:
1️⃣ Place Your Order
Choose your favorite pendant design and complete your order online.
2️⃣ Receive Pet Hair Collection Instructions
After checkout, you’ll receive an email with:
- A simple preparation checklist
- Our studio mailing address
- A step-by-step instruction video showing how to safely prepare your pet’s hair for shipping
3️⃣ Collect a Small Sample of Your Pet’s Hair
Place a small amount of hair into a zip bag.
- Trimmed hair provides the best results
- Naturally shed hair (not brushed) also works for short-haired pets
(e.g. French Bulldog, Shiba Inu, Labrador Retriever, domestic shorthair cats)
4️⃣ Mail Your Pet’s Hair
Place the zip bag into any mailing envelope you have.
For extra protection, you may wrap the zip bag with paper (please refer to the instruction video).
Take your envelope to your local post office or shipping carrier and choose the shipping option that works best for you.
We recommend using a service with a tracking number for peace of mind.
Shipping costs for sending your pet’s hair to our studio are the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping costs and delivery times may vary depending on the selected carrier and service level.
5️⃣ We Craft & Ship Your Necklace
Once your pet’s hair arrives at our studio, we carefully handcraft your one-of-a-kind necklace.
Crafting time is approximately 1 week from the date we receive the hair, and you’ll be notified as soon as your piece is ready to ship.

Which countries do you ship to? How much is the shipping cost?
We are based in Canada 🇨🇦 and offer worldwide shipping 🌍
- Shipping costs for sending your pet’s hair to our studio are the responsibility of the customer.
- Shipping of the finished necklace and full packaging is fully covered by OLIB JEWELRY for all custom orders over $100, regardless of destination.
This allows you to choose the shipping method that feels safest for sending your pet’s hair, while we take care of delivering your completed keepsake directly to your door.
- For non-custom items under $100, such as layered necklaces, standard shipping fees will apply.
NOTE:
International orders may be subject to VAT, customs duties, or handling fees upon delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
U.S. Orders
Due to recent changes and inconsistencies in U.S. customs processing for handmade and custom jewelry, automatic checkout for U.S. orders is currently unavailable.
